I have been watching PL for over 17 years now and IMO this has been the worst ssn. for officials .It has been only accentuated by VAR farce and stupid insistence of ref's on not seeing the pitch side monitors.

sometimes on fieled ref take var into their ego they know foul happen or player tackled wrongly but just prove they are right ref decline var. and after var introduce amount of penalty inncresed otherwise a player of serie a winning golden boot next impossible

in my opinion this time champions league will be wholely diffrent level because 5 subs rule 2 times 2 minutes drinks break affect matches. and teams with low firepower in substutute bench will afected. approx 60 % goal happen after drinks break interval i think break game mommentum is big issue. subs rule is very tricky teams have to substitute 3 player's at a time then 1 and 1 player and if team use subs wrongly then might end up playing with ten men.
