Grocery stores in India find new ways to keep up amid competition

Small mom-and-pop shops make up 90 per cent of India's colossal grocery market. Some of these stores, known locally as "Kirana", say they are struggling to compete with online stores and expanding supermarket chains. But some are finding a way to continue thriving.

Bath & Body Works, the largest bath store chain in the US, opens 2 more stores in India. Currently, the company operates around 30 Bath & Body Works stores in India out of which four outlets are in Bengaluru.
