Ookla’s speed test makes Airtel launch new brand campaign with Sasha Chhetri

Bharti Airtel will launch a new brand campaign together with Sasha Chhetri . The campaign, conceived by Taproot-Dentsu would revolve around India’s fastest network Airtel , based on recent Ookla test finding.

Airtel’s latest campaign, which has been conceived by Taproot-Dentsu, will have a 360 degree media mix led by TV. It will have support legs in outdoor, print, radio and digital mediums, the Gurgaon-based company in a statement said.

Recently, Ookla’s speed test rated Airtel top among rivals in the fastest mobile networks in the country.

“Consistent high network speed is a crucial consumer expectation and its great that millions of Ookla tests have now proved Airtel to be the fastest network amongst all,” Rajiv Mathrani, Chief Brand Officer, Bharti Airtel said.

Mathrani added that their new campaign is aimed at reinforcing our superior network capability that enables us to deliver best in class online experience to our customers across the country.

“We are pleased to acknowledge Airtel as India’s Fastest Mobile Network for 2016. This award recognizes Airtel’s commitment to delivering fast speeds and a strong network to their customers across India,” Jamie Steven, COO at Speedtest by Ookla said.

India’s top carrier Airtel offers high speed mobile broadband in all 22 telecom circles of the country, and according to it, the telco has been consistently rated as India’s fastest mobile network.

Airtel recently started offering free 4G data to its postpaid customers under its ‘Airtel Surprise’ offer. It is offering upto 30 GB free 4G data to its postpaid users through MyAirtel app. Airtel postpaid users can avail the free data by clicking on the banner ‘claim free data’.
