They do provide upto 500 mts.
200-300 mtrs is understandable but with 500 mtrs distance power will fluctuate and connection will be fairly unstable. This is where JioFiber does better, they straight deny such long distance connections and follow the company guidelines strictly.

Did you enquired with Airtel about connection feasibility from that 100m far FAT box? 👀

On paper, they provide connection on upto 80m distance from FAT box. But I know they provide connections on 100/120m distance also.
I called the LCO, he said they can provide the connection. I am just thinking now if I should get it or wait for reconstruction of our house, which we delayed to next year.

JioFiber seems to be working excellent ever since then too, as if Mota bhai got scared of losing me. /s

If Jio is a prepaid connection I would try Airtel without hesitation.

It is postpaid, sadly.

I can still get it, since I am already paying for a local ISP for backup connection. However, I have to think it over. Plus, my brother is quite annoyed by the number of cables, ONTs and routers. 😂

Airtel guys were more than happy to provide their connection using the local ISP cable when they saw I have LCO cable present (that way they can save their cable, time and physical efforts).

I didn't wanted to use that so I explicitly told them to do a rewiring using their own cable which they did. They were kind enough to remove the LCO cable as it was no longer in use. So if you decide to try Airtel, you can use your local ISP cable or get a fresh cable and remove the local one. They are flexible with it.

Seems like a nice idea. 👌
