The new update brought this feature which will automatically skip the intro just like Netflix does but with some control for user over the choice... That's the thing I like, bcoz I want to have a choice if I watch it or not, that's not the decision that should be made for me...

Hotstar X Update rolled out to Samsung Tizen TVs as well.
