CoviShield vaccination has started in my town for 18-44 yo people (first dose) from yesterday. My wife and myself had the first dose yesterday. She is also an Engineering graduate, but I have to convince her a lot, giving examples of my uncle (which she already know) and Mom, to take her to the center. Guys, if I have to educate and plead to convince highly literate people like my wife, the villagers of UP jumping to the rivers is understandable.
Everything was fine. Wife got slight fever yesterday night and body pain today morning, but no such issues for me. She has taken fever tablet on night itself, but I didn't, as from childhood I never unnecessarily take medicines -- to avoid my body getting addicted to them.
Not sure, but I feel the fear has more (side) effect in the body than the vaccine itself. Well, now I am now helping her full time, all thanks to Complete LockDown here in TN.
The only issue I got is, my age in the certificate in Cowin site is wrongly entered as 21 instead of 41. But that is OK, considering the huge work load on the guys in the centre.
Friends, just go for the vaccination without any fear, the moment its available in your area.
