I did not like the concept of Woman only pink booth as i don't feel normal woman are any sort of priority group. But vaccinating young parents first is a good step. It will prevent a large number of orphan scenarios post covid.

There are still parts of India where women are bounded by restrictions and do not interact with males other than that of their immediate family

Fun fact: Kerala and Assam didn't had to Boost PR for damage control. Things were never allowed to go out of hand. Be it pre or post elections. Healthcare was given bigger priority than upcoming elections.

We even inaugurate a toll or a new road with such fanfare with Neta ji's coming for ribbon cutting.Vaccination is obviously at higher level that that.I guess its part of Indian culture.
