SII is already making Moderna vaccine, and now wants to make this. Not sure what are their priorities.

If we produce more, then we will export it, Many people are yet to be vaccinated and vaccinating the whole world may take till end of 2022, 2023. I am not taking those boosters we may need into account. If we need it, then add more to the numbers.

I am not denying that but to produce Sputnik either they have setup new labs or they will divert the existing labs to produce Sputnik which imo is not correct.

I think it's great. We should not put all our eggs in one basket considering various mutants of virus. May be in future Covishield will not be that much effective against one mutation of Chinese virus while Sputnik will work. So it's better.
