BSNL Broadband 249 Initial Charges

Hello there,

Is anyone on this forum who took 249 broadband connection? If yes, than how much you guys paid initially?

I inquired and was told to get landline connection 1st for 500 which is refundable. Once landline is active I can apply for 249 plan. Later after submitting request I was told by another bsnl employee that there will be installation charges in 1st bill of about 1100. This was not shared with me initially while I submitted form and paid money.

Is there anyone who opted for such plan?

That officer is giving you false info so contact higher official

Yup. Installation charges are waived of as of now and also if you are shifting from another broadband provider then you get 500 calls on any network and one month rent waived too.
