Only public shaming works. I got locked out of my paytm wallet. Contacted chargeable customer service via my Vodafone number for weeks losing over 300 in balance. Still I didn't got the promised callback. I tweeted them once they contacted me next morning.Twitter support is the best these days for any company. Even for worse ones like Airtel!
I was finally in a situation that i felt Airtel CC can not help me and since it was backend thing store people also couldn't. Then one fine day i accidentally contacted them via Twitter and they for the first time in last 3 years acted like humans with genuine replies without template copy pastes which they do on Email, IVR etc.
