Sad News Airtel AirFiber is terrible in terms of speed & latency

Bro LCO are installing connections even there is no 5G coverage in the area for completing their targets
As far I know, LCO (local cable operators) are only given contract for Airtel's optical fiber mainline (pole to pole) expansions. They aren't involved in AirFiber installation. So it can be a case of misleading sale of the product at a not feasible area.

Bro I don't know about other but in my area same LCO is assigned for tha airfiber expansion and installation as it was in my reference I have seen new airfiber devices in there office which they give to technical team for installation.
 
Symmetrical speeds can't be achieved in Airfiber.

Looks like there is no proper 5G coverage in your area. This is not what a properly installed AirFiber connection should look like.
I get 5G in my mobile and it performs better the moment I step out of the home. I can even use hotspot when I keep my mobile outdoor. Now, this device is sitting in the terrace. He simply drilled a hole on the terrace wall and placed it. It worked only one day. From the next day, it never crosses 2 mbps. It's clearly an installation issue. I called customer care, they kept restarting. I asked them to send technician, they said ok and took complaint. They simply closed.

Today I called again, they're not ready to take complaint. They raised a request to call back. None called so far.

Worst technician + worst coverage + worst customer care = Airtel.

I do not know, but i have seen that the ODU can be installed anywhere outside as long as you get 5G signals.

This is because Airtel AirFiber is fully backward compatible with Airtel's 4G network. Therefore, even if the 5G signals are temporarily lost, the device will continue to function, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.
 
What else did you expect before getting the connection?
I knew and I'm already struggling with Airtel for a recharge complaint. So I was totally against this. My father in law is a retailer and they've got this weird rule where every retailer must sell atleast one air fiber every month. So he was forced activate it for his home.
