Sad News Airtel AirFiber is terrible in terms of speed & latency

This Airtel air fiber is a failure product that they're selling now by forcing retailers to sell a minimum one product every month. Worst move. My FIL forced to buy this sh#t and getting .2 mbps for 40 mbps. Not even 1 mbps. They don't care to check.
Airfiber speeds depends on verious facts like location of outdoor unit, signals of 5G/4G and tower load

If the location and tower load is not feasible for air fiber then they should not install. They're selling the stocks without even knowing the feasibility. Again why force retailers to sell one device every month to keep SIM slab. At the end, someone is losing 3k to 4k and Airtel gains money. There's no refund policy with Airtel.

Speed test results. Even my mobile 5g indoor with poor signal performs better. This sh#t is sitting on terrace to deliver this.

Bro LCO are installing connections even there is no 5G coverage in the area for completing their targets

The installation technician informed me that the tower needs to be within a clear line of sight and at a visible distance, which was not the case for my setup. I also understand that since AirFiber is a wireless connection, it’s not reasonable to expect the same consistent speeds as an optical fiber connection.

I do not know, but i have seen that the ODU can be installed anywhere outside as long as you get 5G signals.

I have seen pings as low as 30ms and download/upload latency in two digits.
