The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) earlier this year granted a fresh Unified License (UL) to CenturyLink Communications India Private Limited. The license was granted with Internet Service Provider (ISP) A and International Long Distance (ILD) authorisation.
The license and authorisation were signed and granted on 28th January 2022 vide license number 20-1255/2021-AS-I. The authorisation for both ISP-A and ILD extends to National Area.
The Telecom Department this year also granted additional authorisation to Tata Communications Limited on its existing UL. The company was granted NLD and ILD authorisation on 1st January 2022 and 1st April 2022 respectively. The authorisation for both NLD and ILD was signed on 8th December 2021.
NTT Communications India Network Service Private Limited was granted the additional authorisation on its existing UL. The company was granted ISP-A authorisation for National Area on 29th November 2021. The authorisation was signed and granted on the same day.
Yotta Network Services Private Limited was granted the additional authorisation on its existing UL. The company was granted NLD authorisation for National Area on 29th November 2021. The authorisation was signed and granted on the same day.
Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited last year received an additional authorisation on its existing UL. The company was granted Access Service authorisation for Delhi and Mumbai telecom circles on 6th April 2019 but it was signed on 28th July 2021.
Nelco Limited received the NLD service authorisation under the UL regime on 1st November 2021 vide license number 10-29/2021-CS-III. Ctrl S NLD service Private Limited received the NLD service authorisation under the UL regime on 28th December 2021 vide license number 10-86/2020-CS-III.
Lastly, Datawave Networks Private Limited received ILD service authorisation under the UL regime on 29th March 2022 vide license number 10-71/2020-CS-III.
