India’s premier Telecom R&D Centre of the Department of Telecommunications earlier this month launched Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) lab to design pan-India Integrated Alert System for effective disaster management.

C-DOT’s Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) lab pan-India Integrated Alert System will be administered by NDMA for effective disaster management, public alerting and hazard notification in emergencies.

The Telecom R&D Centre has relentlessly worked towards successful Proof of Concept (PoC) of 4G LTE in the BSNL network apart from the indigenous development of 5G NSA and SA by C-DoT. Indigenous R&D plays a critical role in solving complex real-time problems and boosting socio-economic growth.

C-DoT is continuing to organize seminars and technical workshops on contemporary themes related to the newly emerging dimensions of Telecom & ICT.
