State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set to introduce Plan Voucher 399 in place of the current Special Tariff Voucher 399 which will allow its customers to save some money as STVs need a base plan to work whereas a plan voucher works on a standalone basis. The development was noted by BSNL Kerala earlier this month and now confirmed through a BSNL Chennai circular.
BSNL is removing Plan Voucher 1699 and STV 399 effective 14th August 2020. BSNL is replacing the discontinued STV 399 from 15th August with PV 399 which will offer unlimited free data with speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 1GB/day, unlimited free voice calls, 100 SMS/day, free BSNL Tunes, and Lokdhun content.
The freebies and plan validity will be 80 days. PV 399 can be activated through C-Topup, Selfcare, and Web portal. The activation through self-care will however not provide free BSNL Tunes and Lokdhun content. BSNL will allow migration from and to above PV 399.
In other news, BSNL recently launched STV 147 and is offering extra validity under promotional offer on 74th Independence Day.
