Bengaluru headquartered broadband service provider ACT Fibernet has launched ‘ACT Shield‘ an all-in-one security app that comes with a separate browser on Android device and as a plugin on the existing browsers available in the windows and Mac systems.
The service will offer secure online transactions, virus protection, child-safe browsing, multi-device support, and find-my-device among the key features. The service is powered by F-secure and is said to be available on Android, Windows, and MAC computers.
ACT Shield is available as an add-on to the monthly broadband bill. The monthly rental is available in three different variants at Rs 49, Rs 69, and Rs 99. Rs 49 ACT Shield plan offers access on 2 devices, Rs 69 ACT Shield plan offers access on 3 devices, and Rs 99 ACT Shield plan offers access on 5 devices. The prices are exclusive of 18% GST.
The service will protect devices, offer parental controls to control usage of apps, and comes with a phone finder feature to help track one’s mobile phone. It also has a banking protection active feature to secure your money when transacting online.
