In Tamil Nadu frm April 15 Bsnl is going to add 4G Towers of around 6000 frm 3G.

BSNL to launch 4G services in Tamilnadu on or before April 15, which marks the Tamil New Year day.

• 6000 towers in the state will be upgraded to provide 4G services.
• All the towers will also be 5G ready.
• BSNL will install new towers at 200 remote locations with no telecom services.
• Customers using 2G and 3G sim cards can upgrade their SIM for free from BSNL customer care counters.
• 4GB data will be given complimentary during the SIM upgrade.

Mr.Tamilmani, Chief General Manager, Tamilnadu Circle, BSNL informed during a press release today.

Good to hear that BSNL launching 4G in TN before April 15. But they forgot to mention the year. Is that 2027 or 2032 ?

I guess PM will inaugurate BSNL 5G on 15 Aug and in between talk about activating 1.12 Lakh towers.
I don't understand why govt work like this if something is ready to activate just activate na! Why waiting for others to let finish, just to showcase inaugration.

Bro, do you really believe that BSNL 4G will be activated on 1.2L Towers by Aug2024 ? If it is true, it will be a miracle for sure.
