The Apple iPhone SE 2 also known as iPhone 9 is expected to launch on April 15 and will go on sale from April 22. According to the reports, the phone was supposed to launch in March 2020 but got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, the starting price of the phone will be around $399 (Rs. 30,000 approx).
The iPhone SE2 or iPhone 9 is expected to run on Apple A13 Bionic (7 nm+) chipset, paired with a 3GB ram. It may come in three storage variants- 64GB, 128GB, and 265GB. The phone is rumored to have a 4.7-inch HD Retina IPS LCD. The phone will also come with an IP67 rating and front-mounted fingerprint sensor. The build will be similar to the iPhone 8 with the home button, glass front, glass back, and an aluminum frame.
The phone will feature a single 12 MP f/1.8 camera with Dual-LED dual-tone flash, that will support 4K recording at 30fps, FHD recording at 30/60/120fps, and HD recording at 240fps. For selfies, it is expected to have 7 MP f/2.2 camera with Face detection, HDR, and panorama support. For connectivity, the device will support Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and 4G LTE. The phone is expected to run iOS 13.4 out of the box.
There is also speculation about the name. The phone might be called iPhone SE2, iPhone 9, or maybe just iPhone SE (2020). There are also rumors that Apple will launch the iPhone 9 Plus variant, which will feature a 5.5-inch display.
