Apple, on Tuesday, at its special event, announced the new iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphones as the successor of last year’s launched iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max models. Both iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max comes in Silver, Graphite, Gold, and Pacific Blue color options and runs iOS 14 out of the box. Both models are also rated IP68 under IEC standard 60529 for water and dust resistance.

Apple iPhone 12 Pro features a 6.1‑inch (2532 x 1170 pixels) Super Retina XDR OLED display with support for Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, HDR, True Tone, and brightness up to 1200 nits (typical 800 nits max). The phone is powered by an Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) chip paired with quad-core graphics and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. It comes with a non-removable lithium‑ion battery that supports 20W fast charging, 15W MagSafe wireless charging, and 7.5W Qi wireless charging technology. The iPhone 12 Pro can deliver up to 17 hours of video playback and up to 65 hours of audio playback on a full charge. The iPhone 12 Pro 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 1,19,900, while the 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 1,29,900. The top variant with 512GB of storage costs Rs. 1,49,900. On the other hand, the base variant of the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 128GB of storage cost Rs. Rs. 1,29,900, while the 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 1,39,900. The top variant with 512GB of storage costs Rs. 1,59,900.
The iPhone 12 Pro will be available to purchase through Apple Authorized Resellers in India, starting October 30, 2020, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will go on sale from November 13, 2020, in the country.
