Airtel has teamed up with Google to offer Google Nest Mini at a discounted price of Rs. 1699. The full retail price of the Google Nest Mini is Rs. 4,499. The offer is applicable for customers who have activated their Airtel Xstream set-top box from January 8, 2020, to January 31, 2020. Earlier, Airtel was offering Google Home Mini at a discounted price for a limited period.

Airtel will send coupons via SMS to the customer’s registered mobile number within 7 days of the activation of the Xstream Box. The coupon is valid until February 29, 2020. The offer applies for new online orders or purchases and upgrades to Airtel Xstream set-top by existing Airtel DigitalTV subscribers. Only one coupon per Airtel Xtream set-top box can be availed by the customer. The device is covered under OEM warranty.

Google Nest Mini was launched in November 2019. It is the second generation smart speaker by Google. Google Nest Mini offers 40 percent stronger bass than the Google Home Mini and comes with wall-mount support. It is available in Chalk, Charcoal, Coral, and Sky color options. However, in India, it is available only in Chalk and Charcoal color options. The device is powered by a quad-core 64-bit ARM CPU 1.4 GHz. It supports Bluetooth and wifi connectivity.

Google Nest Mini is equipped with 3 far-field microphones and a high-performance ML hardware engine. Google claims the top of the product is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles while the external enclosure is made with at least 35% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Last month Airtel rolled out Xstream Thanks Offer, which offers Airtel Xstream set-top box at a discounted price of Rs. 2249. The discount is applicable for Airtel Thanks customers and is available in select cities. Airtel Xstream set-top box runs Android Pie and already comes with a built-in Chromecast support and Google Assistant.
