Airtel launches Rs 401 prepaid plan offering Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has launched a new Rs 401 prepaid plan wherein it is offering Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year. The plan also offers 3 GB of high-speed data with a validity of 28 days. The plan is listed under the Data section in Airtel’s prepaid plan listings. It is a modified version of the Rs 48 Data pack which offers 3 GB of data with service validity of 28 days.

According to the listing on the Airtel website, Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription will only be available on Rs 401 prepaid plan. The plan offers 3 GB of high-speed data, Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year and 28 days of service validity.

According to Bharti Airtel, Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for 1 year can be only claimed against the mobile number on which the recharge is done. The content access will be activated after the recharge is done. The recharge pack will be available across all existing recharge channels – LAPU, Thank App, 3rd parties etc.

Airtel customers can only recharge with the product only once in 360 days to avoid wrong selling and customer issues. However, one can log in to multiple devices. The telecom data benefits validity (28 days) and Disney+ Hotstar subscription validity (1 year) are independent of each other.

The access to Disney+ Hotstar VIP content will continue even if the customer ports out of Airtel or migrates to Airtel postpaid or shifts to another prepaid plan during the validity of the 1-year subscription. The subscription purchased via Airtel will work independently of existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription customers.

Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription gives access to all live sports, such as Cricket, Football, Premier Leagues, Formula 1, Tennis, and much more. The user also gets access to Disney movies (dubbed), Kids shows (dubbed), New Indian Movies, Hotstar Specials, Star Serials before TV.
