Telecom giant Bharti Airtel earlier today followed Reliance Jio’s footsteps and launched its annual unlimited prepaid plan offering 2 GB high speed per day. Airtel’s Rs 2498 prepaid plan offers 2 GB high-speed data per day with a validity of 365 days.
Airtel’s Rs 2498 prepaid plan offers high-speed data, truly unlimited calling, SMS benefits along with complimentary access to certain additional benefits including OTT apps. Airtel users subscribing to the prepaid plan will get Free Zee5 Premium Subscription, Airtel Xstream Premium, Wynk Music, Free Hellotunes, anti-virus for their phone, 28 days subscription to Shaw Academy to access free online courses, and Rs 150 cashback on FASTag.
The pack offers 2GB high speed per day, truly unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 365 days and is Airtel’s costliest unlimited prepaid plan.
To recall, a week back Jio launched its Rs 2399 annual prepaid plan offering 2 GB high-speed data per day with a validity of 365 days. Jio had stated that the plan offered 33% more benefits than rival operator plans. Airtel has now come out with its own 2 GB high speed per day annual pack, however the same costs Rs 99 more than Jio’s annual pack. It remains to be seen as and when Vodafone Idea launches its own 2 GB high-speed day annual pack.
