Xiaomi India has partnered with YouTube to offer extended free trials of YouTube Premium subscription for up to 3 months to eligible customers with select Xiaomi and Redmi devices.

The extended trial is available only for users who have not already availed YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red or Google Play Music in the past. After the end of the trial period, subscribers will be charged a regular price of Rs 129 per month.
As it is a trial of YouTube Premium subscription, users can cancel it anytime to prevent getting charged. Users with eligible devices can redeem the offer through the YouTube app on their handset between June 6th 2022 and February 28th 2023.
Eligibility
In total 10 devices are eligible for this offer in India. Customers having Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge and Xiaomi 11T Pro can get three months of YouTube Premium membership. While the users of Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi Note 11 Pro+, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11T, and Redmi Note 11S devices are eligible for two months of YouTube Premium trial.
It’s also worth mentioning that only the devices which were purchased on or after February 1st 2022 are eligible for the offer. After completion of the promotional period, subscribers will be charged on a recurring basis, until they cancel their membership.
YouTube Premium offers an ad-free streaming experience, background playback, access to all YouTube originals, more than 80 million official songs plus live performances, covers, remixes and offline playback by downloading videos and music.
