Vi Max postpaid plans launched with OTT benefits and more data

Telecom service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched new Vi Max postpaid plans in India. According to the company, the new postpaid plans offer more data, priority customer service, and free over-the-top (OTT) subscriptions, including Sony LIV, Disney+ Hotstar, and Amazon Prime. It also allows users to set their own credit limit via the Vi app for better control over their monthly bills.

“We have constantly innovated and redefined the components of our offerings in line with changing user needs and aspirations. By strengthening our Postpaid portfolio with Vi Max, we aim to attract the high ARPU postpaid users to the 5G-ready Vi network offering them more power, value, and convenience,” said Avneesh Khosla, CMO of Vodafone Idea Limited.

Vi Max postpaid plan details

The new Vi Max postpaid plans start at Rs. 401 per month and are available to all new and existing Vi users across India from November 1st, 2022.

Vi Max Rs. 401 postpaid plan

The postpaid plan costs Rs. 401 per month and offers unlimited voice calling, 3000 SMS per month, and 50GB of monthly data with up to 200GB of data rollover facility. Post consumption of the available data quota, customers will be charged Rs. 20 for every GB of data they consume for the rest of the month. Users will also get the night unlimited data benefit which applies from 12 AM to 6 AM every night, and no data will be charged or deducted from the customer’s account during that period. The plan also comes with one year of SonyLIV mobile subscription, Vi Movies & TV, Hungama Music on the Vi app, and 1000 free Vi games.

Vi Max Rs. 501 postpaid plan

The postpaid plan is priced at Rs. 501 per month and offers unlimited voice calling, 3000 SMS per month, and 90GB of monthly data with up to 200GB of data rollover facility. Post consumption of the available data quota, customers will be charged Rs. 20 for every GB of data they consume for the rest of the month. Users will also get the night unlimited data benefit which applies from 12 AM to 6 AM every night. Further, the plan comes with a 6-month Amazon Prime subscription (one-time), 12 months of Disney+ Hotstar mobile subscription, Vi Movies & TV, Hungama Music on the Vi app, and 1000 free Vi games along with 5 Gold.

Vi Max Rs. 701 postpaid plan

The postpaid plan costs Rs. 701 per month and offers unlimited voice calling, 3000 SMS per month, and unlimited monthly data. The postpaid plan comes with a 6-month Amazon Prime subscription (one-time), 12 months of Disney+ Hotstar Super plan, Vi Movies & TV, Hungama Music on the Vi app, and 1000 free Vi games along with 5 Gold.

Vi REDX Rs. 1101 postpaid plan

The postpaid plan is priced at Rs. 1101 per month and offers unlimited voice calling, unlimited data, and 3000 SMS per month. The additional benefits include a 6-month Amazon Prime subscription (one-time), 12 months of SonyLIV Premium, 12 months of Disney+ Hotstar Super plan, Vi Movies & TV, Hungama Music on the Vi app, and 1000 free Vi games along with 5 Gold. The postpaid plan also includes MakeMyTrip benefits, airport lounge access (up to 4 times per year), and international roaming (IR) pack worth Rs 2,999.

Vi has also upgraded its Family postpaid plans to offer up to four connections at Rs. 999 per month and five at Rs. 1149 per month. These family plans come with Amazon Prime and Disney+Hotstar subscriptions.

Not really use of it. They should have removed speed cap and introduced 3GB/day for 28 days for 299 with removal of night unlimited data.

So they removed netflix subscription from RedX plan.
