Tata Play, the largest content distribution platform has partnered with Amazon Prime, to provide DTH and Binge subscribers with multiple ways to watch Prime Video Lite. Amazon Prime Lite is available in addition to the company’s current DTH plans, which also include TV channels.

The company has also launched new Binge packs, where customers can choose all 33 over-the-top (OTT) platforms or select 6 apps at a reduced monthly subscription fee. Tata Play subscribers can also sign up for the annual Amazon Prime subscription through Tata Play manage packs portal, with a one-time only introductory offer. For Rs. 349 a month, you can get access to all 33 OTT channels along with Prime Video. Alternatively, you can subscribe to any 6 OTT apps, including Prime Video, for Rs. 199 per month.

While on the one hand, Tata Play’s robust content distribution network will help in expanding Amazon Prime’s outreach to newer audience segments, on the other, addition of Prime Lite Membership with Tata Play will make Binge a more compelling proposition.

I feel Tata Play Binge Mega plan is worth it, considering the number of OTTs bundled. With today's addition of Apple Tv+ and Fuse+ they have 27 OTTs.
