Earlier today, Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter dropped a teaser image for SRK+ with the caption saying “Kuch Kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein”, roughly translated to something is going to happen in the streaming(OTT) world.

Shah Rukh Khan’s friends Salman Khan and Karan Johar have congratulated him on his new OTT app. While filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had confirmed his collaboration with this OTT venture. However, neither SRK nor his company Red Chillies Entertainment has confirmed that the teaser is regarding a new streaming venture.

Coming to the existing collaborations with other streaming platforms, SRK had recently starred in a series of commercials for Disney+ Hotstar India in its signature #SiwayShahrukhKe campaign. On the other hand, Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment has a deal in place with Netflix India for the Indian series. Under the pact, Netflix already had premiered Bard of Blood and Bethaal.

On the work front, Shah Rukh is currently shooting for Siddhart Anand’s Paathan for YRF. The film also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. This is the first film in which the actor will be seen in the lead role since the 2018’s disaster Zero.
