Reliance Jio launches True 5G services in 27 more cities

Reliance Jio True 5G services in 331 cities

Telecom service provider Reliance Jio has launched its True 5G services in 27 additional cities in India. According to the company, it has become the first telecom operator to bring 5G services to most of these cities. With this launch, Jio True 5G services are now available across 331 cities in the country.

Here is the list of 25 cities where Reliance Jio True 5G services are now available:

  • Andhra Pradesh – Tadipatri
  • Chhattisgarh – Bhatapara
  • Jammu & Kashmir – Anantnag
  • Karnataka – Bhadravathi, Doddaballapura, Chintamani, Ramanagara
  • Kerala – Changanassery, Kodungallur, Muvattupuzha
  • Madhya Pradesh – Katni Murwara
  • Maharashtra – Satara
  • Punjab – Pathankot
  • Tamil Nadu – Kovilpatti, Pollachi
  • Telangana – Jagtial, Kodad, Kothagudem, Nirmal, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Tandur, Zahirabad
  • Uttar Pradesh – Rampur
  • Uttarakhand – Kashipur, Ramnagar
  • West Bengal – Bankura

“On this festive occasion of Holi, we are happy to announce the launch of Jio True 5G services in 27 additional cities across 13 states, taking the benefits and reach of Jio’s True 5G services to 331 cities across the nation,” said a Jio spokesperson.

“By December 2023, Jio True 5G will cover every town/city in the country. This is testimony to Jio’s commitment towards transforming India into a Digital Society. We continue to remain grateful to the State Governments and Administrators for their support to digitize their regions,” the spokesperson added.

Starting March 8, 2023, Reliance Jio customers with 5G smartphones in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited 5G mobile internet at up to 1 Gbps speeds at no extra cost.
