The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Tuesday in consideration to the request of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited gave the approval for allocation of numbering level for wireline services in Bihar LSA. The telecom service provider has got numbering level for wireline services in Bokaro SDCA. DoT has decided to allocated level ’31’ to Reliance Jio for Basic services in Bokaro SDCA.
“In consideration to the request of M/s RJIL for allocation of numbering level for wireline services for Bokaro SDCA in Bihar LSA, it is decided to allocate level ’31’ to M/sRJIL for its Basic Services for Bokaro SDCA in Bihar LSA,” said DoT in a notification.
The Telecom Department seperately in an other notification made few changes in the recent allocation of MSC codes to Reliance Jio for Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra LSA.
DoT had earlier granted ACCESS-MSC code 93430-93439 for meeting one million subscribers demand in Madhya Pradesh to Reliance Jio. In Maharastra, Reliance Jio was granted ACCESS-MSC code 87660, 87666, 93090,93092, 93093,93094, 87998, 84688-84700 to meet one million subscribers demand.
In a small change, DoT has withdrawn 84700 ACCESS-MSC code allocation to Reliance Jio in Maharashtra LSA.
