The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recently allocated MSC codes to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for UP East LSA after considering the request of the telecom service provider.
Reliance Jio has been allocated ACCESS-MSC code ‘92500-92509‘ for UP East LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers. The aforementioned series allocated on 20th May can be used by the TSP except for the ported-out subscribers of TTSL.
The Department also allocated level ’36’ to Reliance Jio for its basic services for Bokaro SDCA in Bihar LSA. The allotment made on 20th May is for wireline services. The allocation came into consideration to the request of the TSP.
DoT had last month also allocated MSC codes to Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel for Bihar and North East LSA respectively. Reliance Jio was allocated ACCESS-MSC code ‘92790-92799′ for Bihar LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers.
Bharti Airtel was allotted ACCESS-MSC code ‘92330-92339′ for North East LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers. The aforementioned series allocated on 5th May can be used by the TSPs except for the ported-out subscribers of TTSL.
The Department had last month also allocated level ’31’ to Reliance Jio for its basic services for pan-India. The allotment made on 4th May is for wireline services. The allocation came into consideration to the request of the TSP.
