After teasing for a few weeks, BBK-owned consumer technology brand Realme which itself spun off from Oppo three years ago has launched a new sub-brand called Dizo. This will be its first brand under the TechLife ecosystem with ‘Be Different’ as its tagline.
Dizo will focus on AIoT products in India and other markets across the globe with an aim to launch new products in smart entertainment, smart home, accessories and smart care categories. On Tuesday, the company’s official website, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages went live.
“This is a momentous occasion as Dizo goes live with its mission to offer innovative and diversified AIoT solutions to its consumers. The newest brand will enable users to experience a smart, efficient, and interconnected life. Being the first brand in the Realme TechLife ecosystem, I am very excited to tell you that Dizo already has great products in the pipeline to offer to the people. We wish Dizo good luck and look forward to its success in the times to come,” said Madhav Sheth, vice president, Realme and CEO, Realme India and Europe.
This new sub-brand will have the backing of Realme’s support on Industrial Design, Supply Chain and AIoT experience of the Realme Link app. For providing after-sales service, Dizo has more than 320 service centres across 310+ cities along with support on phone in Hindi and English languages.
We might see smart bulbs, smart speakers, smartwatches, Bluetooth earbuds, etc. launching under this brand, however, no details in that respect have been revealed yet. Realme also has its products in these categories and some leaks suggest that future products such as Realme Buds Air 2, Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo, and Realme Watch 2 could launch under DIZO branding.
