State-owned PSU RailTel Corporation of India today in a regulatory filling declared that it had bagged a work order of Rs 119.72 crores (including GST) for the provisioning of MPLS-VPN services. The company has received the work order from Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) for a period of 60 months or 5 years. RailTel will implement MPLS-VPN services alongwith miscellaneous services at 340 locations of BCCL for the period of 5 years.
“RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (“the Company”) has received the work order of total amount of Rs. 119.72 Crore (Including GST) from M/s. Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), for Implementation of MPLS-VPN services alongwith Miscellaneous services at 340 locations of BCCL for the period of 60 months (5 years),” said RailTel Corporation in a regulatory filing.
RailTel had earlier last month bagged a work order from Cotton Corporation of India Limited for the hiring of on-cloud Data Center hosting for Hardware and Software alongwith migration of Oracle EBS and other applications. The contract came with a cost of Rs 11.99 crore excluding GST worth for a period of 5 years.
In March 2021, RailTel had received an Advance Purchase Order from state owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) amounting to Rs 25.46 crores per annum excluding GST. The company has received the purchase order from BSNL for commissioning of the Point-to-Point Links.
