Oppo has launched the Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G smartphone in Spain as the successor to the Reno 7 Lite. The phone runs ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box and comes with an IPX4 rating for water splash and dust resistance. Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G features a Full-HD+ AMOLED display, 5G connectivity, triple rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 (6 nm) 5G chipset paired with Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G is equipped with a non-removable 4500mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, 5G, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone measures 159.8 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 173 grams.
Pricing and availability
Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G is priced at EUR 429 (around Rs. 35,700) for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Rainbow and Black color options. It is available to purchase via the Oppo e-commerce website in Spain. The company hasn’t shared any details about the launch in other markets, including India. However, the Oppo F21 Pro, which launched in India this April, comes with the same configuration and costs Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
