Oppo has today launched Oppo K7 5G smartphone in China. It is a successor to the Oppo K5 which was launched last year in October and the first 5G supporting phone in the K-series.
The Oppo K7 5G comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, 408ppi pixel density, 20:9 aspect ratio screen, 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch.
It has a 2.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 765G processor, coupled with the Adreno GPU 620, 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage which cannot be expanded. It runs on Color OS 7.2 based on Android 10.
There is a quad-camera system on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens, a superwide sensor of 8-megapixel, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a depth assist lens of 2-megapixel.
The device is fueled by a 4,025mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging and it also features an in-display fingerprint reader. The connectivity features available on this phone include dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Oppo K7 5G is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 21,500) for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant while the 8 GB + 256 GB model is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 24,800). It will be available in 5 colour options- Flowing Cloud, Flow Flame, Sea Night, Mystery Black, and Perak Lemon. Its sale will start in China on August 11.
