Oppo, on Monday, has launched its new smartphone Oppo A54 in its A-series lineup. This smartphone was first unveiled in Indonesia last month. It has a large screen, octa-core MediaTek processor, 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support and will be available in three colour options.

The Oppo A54 comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 89.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 269ppi pixel density and 550 nits of peak brightness.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765V) processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. It runs Android 10 based Color OS 7.2.Â
In terms of optics, it features a triple rear camera unit that includes a main 13-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The handset has an IPX4 waterproof rating for splash resistance. In terms of security, you get face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 15W fast charging. Other connectivity options include 4G, W-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo A54 price in India starts at Rs. 13,490 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option and the 4GB RAM + 128GB variant will cost Rs. 14,490 and the top variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration is priced at Rs. 15,990. It will be sold via Flipkart and mainline retail outlets starting today at noon in 3 colour options- Crystal Black, Moonlight Gold, and Starry Blue.
As a launch offer, Oppo is providing a Rs. 1,000 discount on purchasing the phone using HDFC Bank cards and credit card EMI, complete mobile protection for Re. 1, up to 70 per cent buyback guarantee at Re. 1, no-cost EMI options up to 9 months and existing Oppo smartphone users can get an additional exchange discount of Rs 1,000.
