Chinese brand Oppo has launched its latest budget smartphone Oppo A16e in India. This is an affordable version of the Oppo A16 which was launched last year. It comes in Midnight Black, Blue, and White colour options.
The company has not confirmed the pricing, availability of this handset, but it is expected to be priced at Rs. 9,990 for the 3GB + 32GB model and Rs. 11,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
Specifications
The Oppo A16e sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution, teardrop notch, 20:9 aspect ratio and 269ppi of pixel density. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 480 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage which is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.
For photography, there is a square-shaped camera module on the back with a single 13-megapixel camera sensor having an f/2.2 lens and LED flash. On the front side, you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens.
This device packs a 4,230mAh battery and runs on ColorOS 11.1 custom skin based on Android 11. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
