Smartphone maker Oppo has launched Oppo A12 in India, expanding its budget series of smartphones in the country. The device runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 and will be available in two colour options – Black and Blue.
The Oppo A12 has a 6.22-inch HD+ TFT display with 1520×720 pixels resolution, waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display offers 89% screen-to-body ratio and has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The handset is having a 3D Diamond Blaze design on the back.
The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Oppo A12 has 4,230mAh battery, that can offer up to 17 hours of online video streaming, 8 hours of online gaming, and 63 hours of audio playback. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back and the device supports face unlock.
For photographs, there is a dual rear camera setup of 13 MP primary sensor and 2 MP secondary sensor. On front, the phone comes with a 5 MP selfie camera.
Pricing
The Oppo A12 is priced at Rs. 9,990 for 3 GB + 32GB storage option while for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant the cost is Rs. 11,490. The smartphone will be available to buy in India starting June 10 onwards via online as well as offline stores.
Launch Offers
As the launch offer, Oppo A12 buyers can get a 5% cashback on Bank of Baroda credit card EMI and Federal Bank debit card EMI options. There will also be no-cost EMI options for up to six months on major credit and debit card transactions. The company is also offering an extended warranty of 6 months if the device is purchased by June 21.
