LG Electronics has launched a new gaming monitor LG UltraGear 27GN950. The UltraGear was announced earlier this year alongside the UltraWide and UltraFine Ergo displays at CES 2020.
The UltraGear gaming monitor has a 27-inch 4K nono IPS display with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, refresh rate of 144Hz and a response speed of 1ms (GTG). It has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178 degrees of viewing angle up and down, left and right.
The display of this monitor is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and supports 10-bit colour, DCI-P3 98% colour gamut cover and 400 nits brightness. It is certified for DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10. For connectivity, there are two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, a USB downstream, an upstream port, and a headphone out port.
The monitor has a customisable RGB sphere lighting system mounted on the back and features Sound and Video Sync mode that allows it to light up according to the dynamic sounds and visuals in the game. This Monitor can be wall-mounted and it’s stand allows for tilt, height, and pivot adjustments.
Pricing & Availability
The LG UltraGear 27GN950 monitor is priced at $799.99 (roughly Rs. 59,800) and is on sale in North America, Asia, Europe, and some other regions. LG will be launching this monitor in India, however Indian pricing and launch dates are not revealed yet.
