Jio silently cuts down benefits on ISD and select IR packs

India’s leading telecom service provider Reliance Jio after doing away with shorter validity plans for JioPhone has cut down on the benefits it provides on its ISD and International Roaming packs. Reliance Jio has revised its Rs 501 ISD pack, and a few other International Roaming packs last month.

Jio silently cuts down benefits on ISD and IR packs

Reliance Jio’s Rs 501 ISD pack which earlier provided Rs 551 talk time and 50 MB data along with a 28 days validity has now been revised to cut down on the offerings. According to a document on Jio’s website, the change seems to have happened on 21st July wherein Jio reduced the talk time benefits to Rs 424.58 while the data benefits remain the same.

Jio revises Rs 1201 and Rs 1101 IR packs

Reliance Jio has also revised its Rs 1201 and Rs 1101 International Roaming packs to cut down on the talktime for IR usage while keeping the unlimited plans untouched.

Jio’s Rs 1201 global IR pack applicable for 170 countries which earlier offered Rs 1321 talktime for IR usage with a validity of 28 days is now only offering Rs 1017.8 talktime for IR usage while the validity remains unchanged.

Jio’s Rs 1101 IR pack applicable for 100+ countries which earlier offered Rs 1211 talktime for IR usage with a validity of 28 days is now only offering Rs 933.05 talktime for IR usage while the validity remains unchanged.
