Excitel launches new plan with IPTV service and 21 OTTs

Broadband service provider Excitel has launched a new plan that offers access to Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) service, Excitel TV, and popular over-the-top (OTT) platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Zee5, and more. The plan is priced at Rs 734 per month for a 12-month subscription and is currently available in Delhi-NCR.

“Today, we find ourselves in a new era of home entertainment, where customers are leaning towards bundled offerings rather than juggling individual plans for OTT, Internet, and now Cable TV as well. In response to this shift, our new Excitel TV plan is designed to simplify the experience, streamlining these essential services into one affordable package starting at just INR 554 a month,” said Vivek Raina, co-founder and CEO of Excitel.

The Excitel TV plan costs Rs. 734 per month for a 12-month subscription and provides 37 premium cable TV channels and over 300 free-to-air (FTA) channels. Further, it includes access to 21 OTT platforms, including Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Zee5, Alt Balaji, Sun NXT, Aha, ShemarooMe, Hungama Play, Discovery+, and more. The plan also offers up to 400Mbps of internet speed.

The company also offers another Excitel TV plan that is priced at Rs. 554 per month for a 12-month subscription and offers up to 200Mbps internet speed, 37 premium cable TV channels, 300 FTA channels, and OTT subscriptions.
