The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) today granted a fresh Unified License (UL) to Sri Sai Communication and Internet Private Limited under Virtual Network Operator (VNO) category. The company has bagged the UL (VNO) license today vide license number DS-11/290/2021-DS-III and application number VN20210321.

Sri Sai Communication has bagged ISP-A authorization through its UL (VNO) license. The company can offer ISP services on a pan-India basis as a Virtual Network Operator. As per the Saral Sanchar portal, the license was issued today with DoT further signing the license agreement today itself.

DoT has recently also amended Clause 23.19 under the Security Conditions of the ILD license agreement. As per the amended clause, ILD Gateway Station (Transmission and Switching Centre) and Cable Landing Station (CLS) can be permitted to be set up in security-sensitive areas only with the prior security clearance on a case to case basis.
