DoT allots MSC codes (21st series) to RJIL for mobile services in UP West; numbering level for Basic services in Anantapur SDCA
RJIL allocated MSC codes (21st series) for UP West LSA along with numbering level for Basic services in Anantapur SDCA.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recently allocated MSC codes (21st series) to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for mobile services in UP West LSA. The allotment was made on 9th December in consideration to the request of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
The Telecom Department conveyed the allotment of MSC codes to Reliance Jio in UP West LSA through to meet the demand of one million subscribers. RJIL has been allotted ACCESS-MSC code 92580-92589. The aforementioned series can be used by the telecom service provider except for the port out subscribers if any of Tata Teleservices Limited.
The Telecom Department further allotted a new numbering level for wireline services for Anantapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA to Reliance Jio. The telecom service provider has been allocated level ’31’ for its Basic services for Anatapur SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA.
In other news, DoT earlier this week fresh MSC codes to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited in Bihar, Karnataka, and West Bengal in consideration to the requests by the telecom service provider for mobile services.
