DoT allocates numbering level for Basic services to Reliance Jio for Surat SDCA in Gujarat LSA

The Department of Telecomunications (DoT) on Monday allocated numbering level for Basic services to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for Surat SDCA in Gujarat LSA in consideration to the request of the telecom service provider.

The telecom service provider has been allocated numbering ’31’ for its Basic services for Surat SDCA in Gujarat LSA. The allocated numbering level is to be used for providing wireline services in the SDCA as per DoT’s letter to Reliance Jio on Monday.

“In consideration to the request of M/s RJIL for allocation of numbering level for wireline services for Surat SDCA in Gujarat LSA, it is decided to allocate level ’31’ to M/s RJIL for its Basic Services for Surat SDCA in Gujarat LSA,” said DoT in its letter.

In other news, DoT has recently green lighted the allocation of fresh numbering level to the telecom service provider for wireline services in two different SDCAs in Karnataka LSA.
