Disney+ Hotstar has introduced a referral program for its subscribers who can extend their subscription by up to six months through referrals. Both the existing user and the fresh user will get a one-month complimentary extension. Existing subscriber’s membership will be extended by a month on each successful referral and upgrading of existing subscription will not be allowed.
The offer is now available on Web and Android applications for both Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscribers who purchased directly through the platform. Users with subscriptions purchased from third parties like Jio, BSNL, Flipkart, etc will not be eligible.
Referrer users can share a unique referral link on Email, text, WhatsApp and other social media platforms to family and friends. If any fresh user purchases annual VIP or Premium subscription through the referral link the referrer user will get an extension of one month on their existing subscription and the new user’s subscription will be eligible for a complimentary one-month extension.
There is no limit to the number of referral links the existing users can send. However single referrer user’s complimentary extensions will not extend beyond six months. If VIP users who got complimentary extension choose to upgrade their existing subscription to Premium tier, the complimentary benefits will be cancelled.
