1st gen 43 inch also got update last month after one year after its announcement. You can brick your TV too if there is a power cut during upgradation. 1st gen 32 inch still awaits update. No update for 55 inch out yet. Not even beta despite announcing last September. Commitment was first quarter of 2019 which went under drain. All has same hardware. Only difference is size and 55 inch one having bluetooth support. Still no signs of update. Meanwhile Sony LIV is permanently gone from OS.

Take my advice. Never buy TVs such from such horrible brand. Go for VU or Samsung under 20k if budget is tight.

I am very much disappointed with MI. I bought MI TV 4X Pro 55 on its launch date. Till date I never get Prime video and Netflix updates. Now a days I started recommending my friends and relatives to NOT go for MI Tvs. Recently I sold my Redmi Note mobile and bought samsung mobile, as Redmi is rolling irritating advts during usage.

I am just playing a wait and watch game. If anything happens to my tv now (which is now almost 2yrs old). If i get the updates which actually does make it a smart tv then i would just change to One plus pro tv. I know still some features are not enabled but the basic ones are checked like most of the OTT apps. Currently using sideloaded apps which are just working for certain time period and then it gets disabled by mi (like Netflix, sony liv etc). Feels stupid that i invested in Mi
