Maybe your net. Worked for me

Net was perfectly fine. It downloaded around 2GB out of 2.98GB, while decided to error random files here and there.

Was successfully able to boot yesterday.

The first few sessions were very laggy. Now it's somewhat good. Some part of the UI still takes very long time for response and loading. But I am able to do my regular day to day tasks without any problem.

For some reason Blur/Transparency Effects doesn't seem to work on my PC. It just shows solid colours in the Taskbar and rest of the UI. It didn't work on Windows 10 either. Even apps like TranslucentTB doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone know the reason?

Did you update your graphics driver? The Windows 10 ones worked fine for me...

You mean the NVIDIA Drivers? Everything's latest.

The Windows 10 ones worked fine for me.

It doesn't work for me in Windows 10 either. Even apps like TranslucentTB don't seem to work.

You can try this (not sure it'll work) [It is for VM but may work on real machine]-> Enable Acrylic Effects in Hyper-V VM | Rafael Rivera
