A few shows that I watched in the last few weeks (not in order).

House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths - A very unsettling and mysterious story. Had goosebumps the entire first episode.
7.5/10

Squid Game - I probably don't need to say anything about it. You guys have probably heard enough about it already.
9/10

What If? -
Absolutely amazing! Marvel at its peak. This is what they can do when there's no limitations. Just imagine the last story as a live-action. It would be crazy.
9.5/10

Maid - I wasn't much excited after watching the trailer. But I decided to give it a shot anyway. Glad I did. It was a great show. And it's a limited series. So the ends in one season.
8.5/10

You: S3 - This show gets better and better every season. And I am sure Season 4 will be even wilder.
8.7/10

Only Murders in the Building - It was okay-ish. Nothing special.
7/10

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha - A beautiful and uplifting drama about how life is in the countryside, away from all the noise and hustle of towns and cities.
9/10

Next on Watchlist: Little Things S4, My Name, Midnight Mass, Into the Night S2.

Movies?
Chehre - Decent.
Sanak - Meh!
Free Guy - Good.
Guilty - Decent.

Probably watched a few more, but can't remember. 😅 I've been on a roll lately. 😂

Finished .Chehre. Prime video..
Amithabh Emraan Hashmi. Class act...
Best movie ...
Hmm the movie was meant Amitabh Bachhan fans who can still tolerate his 20 mins or so monologue.Riya Chakrabarty was hilariously bad.It reminded me of movies which are made with hope that presence of a megastar would draw some eye balls.

There was no need of a half hour sequence on Vicky Kaushal moving bodies after Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The editing of the movie is so poor.
That scene, as imo, was necessary to show the impact of brutality on Udham which shocked him for the rest of his life and also to explain the patience he had for 21 years and the brutality of it

I am scared to watch Little Things. I eagerly waited for it for last 3 years. Reviewers are ruining it. And it's the last season. There is no going back. Meanwhile don't bother watching Burari Deaths. It's two episodes too long.

These are the shows I have completed recently, these are my takes on the same. The shows are ranked from most liked to least liked.

Reservation Dogs : As one would expect, the show co-created by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit) is just a blast and I would say it would be one of the best comedies this year so far. But I will say it isn't for everyone's taste for sure..

Only Murders in the Building The show could have probably taken the first place. This and Reservation Dogs both deserve the top spots.. This is a comedy parody on modern true crime podcasts which will keep you hooked to it through out.. Just after finishing the show, I couldn't wait for Season 2 which it was renewed for. Probably, this show might create a signature for Hulu Originals going forward for sure...

Ted Lasso S02: This is one of my favourite shows from Last year.. However, due to no proper negative force to oppose Ted through the season till the final episode, it suffered a lot. However, the show is good and the two episodes which added because APPLE TV+ wanted a 12 episode season haven't helped it a little bit.. However, it's one of the good comedies we have this year..

Turner and Hooch : This 12-episode show is fun going dramedy along the lines of the movie it's based on. It's a good watch if you have some to kill or run it on second screen while you are on some work.

AHS: Double Feature : I really have to talk about this in parts as this show was divided into two different anthologies with in this season 1. Coming to part 1 named as Red Tide, it's enjoyable in parts and has a cohesive narrative which helped viewers. The second part name The Death Valley, isn't great at all and has delved onto conspiracy theories going around the Area 51, more than focusing on Horror itself.

Marvel's What-If: I can easily say this is the most I was ever disappointed over a Marvel content. Apart from 3 episodes, it did not hit any good notes. The voice acting on the show is terrible. I'm very annoyed the dialogues to be frank... My least favourite Show from Marvel so far. If they are gonna continue in similar lines in animation, I don't have any hope in those lines.

FX's The Premise : The show being from one of the minds behind The Office (B. J. Novak), I had hoped this show would be great.. The 5- episode anthology had taken a today's stories surrounding on Guns, Revenge, Social Media etc.. As they have very little time for each episode, the stories aren't properly flushed out. The episode I liked the most was the one about Guns featuring Jon Bernthal, who had killed his episode with his performance others haven't been upto mark though..

I am a Huge fan of Amithabh..Perhaps didn't missed his single movie...That doesn't mean all his movies r great...Frankly he failed in 10% -15% of his movies...Still i believe he is a level higher than others...We r used to watch and hear dialogues hour after hour in Yakshagana..So long monologue is not an issue..

Yah agree but that doesn't mean if he had moved 100 bodies in reality than the movie should have shown him moving 100 bodies. There are N number of way to communicate/show the viewers the brutality. This sequence in the movie only added unnecessary length

Yes, The scenes of rescue failed to evoke any emotions. Rather, it gave a feeling of dragging the movie.

Saw Dune in theatre this afternoon and my god this is film so f**kin brilliant! Cinematography, Directing, Music, Acting, everything you name is amazing. Denis Villeneuve is a master in sci-fi genre. Every film is great, you cant stop thinking about it. Gonna see this is 4k HDR soon.
