Watching IC814 on Netflix right now which is based on Kandhar Hijack which resulted in Masood Azhar released and personally escorted by Jaswant Singh.The reason why this story wasn’t taken up so far in main stream cinema or OTT is because it was a national shame which once again showed the soft underbelly of Indian govt.
Coming to the series it is good and a nice reminder of challenges our nation faces for those who believe otherwise.

That resulted in to 2019 attacks of Pulwama which was done by JeM, founded by Masood Azhar. I hope Doval creates force that will kill all of them in his final attempt.

Absolutely a good movie.

Also, some members are saying for heavily inspiration from foreign films and all, but remember it's an Indian film and making it on such level was itself a challenge.

8/10 from my side.

Watched the series and though i liked it,i completely agree with the outrage over its portrayal of the hijackers.If Anubhav Sinha has balls he should face the widow of Rupen Katiyal who was brutally stabbed by the terrorists.The director was almost trying to justify the need of terrorists to carry out the hijackers and that there enemy was only Indian govt. not the people.I was skeptical when i came to know that this was from Anubhav Sinha whose bias is well known but atleast little bit of brain usage would have saved him ire of lot of indians.This is not a fiction where he had liberty to twists the characters to his bias.This was really shameful evn from him.

His bias has given us the bravest scene of Indian cinema.
 
Watched Srikanth on Netflix.
A movie definitely worth watching. It's not like a mass film or something; a simple story with generic twists...but Worth It.
And the performance of Rajkumar Rao...Wow.. he is one of the best actors of Indian Cinema and he proves it in the film.
There were a little bit flaws in the film, but that's okay.

Amid controversy around the recently released Netflix series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, which has been accused of misrepresenting the identities of the men who hijacked Indian Airlines flight IC 814 in 1999, several first-hand accounts of the incident have resurfaced. Many survivors mentioned in interviews conducted shortly after their rescue that the hijackers used assumed names, corroborating what was shown in the series. Some of taken offence to two of the hijackers being named Bhola and Shankar in the show, but a first-hand account of survivor Kollattu Ravikumar, published in Rediff in 2000, describes not only the hijackers’ actions during the ordeal, but also confirms that two of them were, in fact, called Bhola and Shankar.

facts can be facts only if it is portrayed as it is.Fact remains the series no where mentions the actual names of the hijackers.If one doesn’t know about the hijacking he/she is bound to assume that these people were Hindus who for some reason had decided to hijack.Secondly,the series portrays the terrorists in the nicest way possible.It is almost as if there is some role playing party is going on with nice people playing role of terrorists.It is slap on the face of people who lost their loved ones and faced this turmoil but some Bollywood c*** decided to portray the murderers in positive light.
