if govt accept their proposal for waiver, then what is the need for increase the rate? Then tariff rate should be decreased if they take grant from govt for their huge pending money

That is not happening. The wavier will only slow down the inevitable multi fold increase in the prices over next few quarters. You got so outraged over one hike? Sir, many more are also in line. Be prepared for that too.

**I think 40% hike is too much for mobile operators. Indian people average daily per head income not to be increased 40% even next 10-20 years.

**And why Vodafone & other operates are continuously saying that Indian data rate is too much cheap than any country. Why they r comparing Indian to US or UK people. Dont they know that- what is average income per head of Indian people. They should know that IT companies hired Indian people to Europe & US countries for only low salary.

Don't you know that indian telecom companies have to pay huge amount of money to government for spectrum fee, fine, internet, agr, hena tena etc. That's why are making loss even more than 1 lakh crores.. They also pay for 2G, 3G spectrum unlike Jio.. If they surrender some old spectrum for 2G that might be helpful for them but millions 2G phone going to unusable... Governments even dreaming for huge amount of money from selling 5G spectrum which is going to happen in 2nd quarter of 2020.

This arm twisting from the corporates is going on because they know they have the leverage over the government considering the perilous situation of economy in this country. If Vodafone-Idea goes bust, the government will not only loose spectrum payments worth tens of thousands of crores but also forget about recovering any penny from the AGR due. Also, job losses.

It is just like companies saying that the recent 40 % hike is for our own good.

If u do/ start any big business- u should have much capital to u for running i, and spread it to international level- u should have huge amount of capital. All the time industrialist or businessmen depend only for big loan amount from bank, and when time to pay the interest they r claiming the waiver or leave the business for involvement. Jio ceo already mention that VOID can repay these amount- they have their capacity. They can sale their shares or sale assets for that.
Before coming JIO- when AVOID was taking huge amount for 1gb data, that time they didnt think for surrender some profit for charity or pay some amount to PM fund. AVOID just playing the mind game with general public & govt with claiming for leave the business from INDIA
