VoId earlier proclaimed that, they will never hesitate to Increase the tariff, as the tariffs are lowest in the whole universe. But just like a cryBaby, they always nudged TRAI to bring floor tariffs, to help(??) the Industry to move forward. In current situation, TRAI / Govt is not ready to bear the blame and anger of public.
Also Jio is NOT ready to hike tariff at least till getting more spectrum to deploy (that's few months after auction completion). With Jio NOT ready to hike tariffs, VoId's plan to increase tariff will ONLY backfire and remaining customers will leave superFast.
If VoId is confident about their "GIGA"net network and tariffs are non-sustainable, then they themselves have to increase the tariff without hesitation, instead of waiting for TRAI to "SAVE" the Industry. Infact with abundant spectrum and relatively very few data users, they really can do it NOW. But, just like their promoters, they don't have much confident in them, hence the crying continues.
Regarding TRAI, they didn't "SAVE" customers, when these guys are selling data like a precious thing @ Rs250 per GB and of course these guys are happy, saying "Let the market forces determine the price". So it is OK for TRAI to be a silent spectator even now, when they have to "SAVE" the Industry, according to AVoId.
Actually, AVoId started selling 3G data at Rs500 per GB. With literally NO takers for that price (main reason being Cheap 2G data at that time @ Rs68--3GB, thanks to RAT == RCom + Aircel + Tata), it's Aircel, who reduced the price to Rs250 per GB for 3G data and whole AVoId (Airtel, Voda, Idea) team copied.
