DID YOU KNOW: Bangabandhu International Stadium (Dhaka) is the only venue in the world to "host" first Test of two different Test playing nations.

In 1955, it hosted the first Test of Pakistan and later, in 2000, it hosted the first Test of Bangladesh. India were the visitors on both occasions.

The venue is no longer a Cricket venue, its now a Football stadium. However, opening ceremony of WC'11 was held there.

DID YOU KNOW: On 20th August 2006 at the Oval, Pakistan refused to take field after Tea, due to the ball-tampering allegations by umpire Darrel Hair, against England.

But exactly 4 years later, 20th August 2010, again playing at the Oval against England, Pakistan took 6 wickets after tea as the English batting collapsed. The session which Pakistan denied to play 4 years ago, on same date, Pakistan took 6 wickets in that session. Pakistan also won the Oval Test of 2010.

Here's an interesting quote

" You invented the game. That's like saying America is No. 1 at baseball or American football. "

David Cameron reveals that Barack Obama did not think England becoming No. 1 in Tests was a big deal

When Dravid faced 84th Ball in his current inning of 57* off 108 balls, he completed facing 45000 balls in International Cricket!
He needs to face 100 more balls to become the first batsman to have faced 30000 balls in Test Cricket
:)

29 ball DUCK
Longest DUCK by an Indian in Test Cricket
Irfan Pathan and Suresh Raina are the two players Holding of this Record for India

Now Dravid and Tendulkar have scored more runs in partnership than ANYONE else in the game. They go past Greenidge and Haynes, who had 6482 between them.:)

No less that 9 England batsmen (including Trott) have aggretated more than 150 runs in the series and the lowest average is Graeme Swann's 18.33. In contrast, only 3 Indians have aggregated 150 and only 3 batsmen average more than 25. Dravid averages more than twice Dhoni, 2nd best average and almost triple Tendulkar, the 3rd best Indian.

No one has faced more balls in Test cricket than Rahul Dravid. #trivia #cricket
:lol:lol

DID YOU KNOW: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore [capacity 60,000] is the third largest International Cricket Stadium of the world in terms of seating capacity.

MCG (Melbourne; capacity 100,000) is first while Eden Gardens (Kolkatta; capacity 90,000) is second largest. ANZ Stadium, in Sydney, has seating capacity of 78,000 but it never hosted an international Cricket match, however, it has hosted some domestic Cricket matches.

First time in 20 years that a player carried his bat and opened again. Unbelievable stuff!:)
